A longtime Texas resident, Melissa Burks brings several years of management and real estate experience to Phillips Development & Realty, LLC. As Community Manager, her duties include maximizing income, evaluating economic conditions, and monitoring future market trends for Phillips McKinney Ranch, located in McKinney, Texas.
Prior to PDR, she served as a Community Manager for two lease up communities in North Plano and Dallas, Texas. She attended Southwest Texas State University and received her CAM certification. After, meeting with Phillips Development & Realty, Melissa knew she could not resist the opportunity to work for this winning team.
“I knew I would make a great fit for Phillips Development & Realty due to my experience, fresh ideas, and positive energy in new construction/lease up communities” stated Burks. “I’m excited to learn new things while bringing in ideas of my own.”
In her spare time, Melissa is involved in the local chapter for Habitat for Humanity. She enjoys spending time with her husband and 15 year-old son. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys running, walking her dogs, and painting.
