Phillips Represents TEAMFL and e-Florida at Joint Annual Transportation Meeting

[ORLANDO, Fla.] – The Transportation and Expressway Authority Membership of Florida (TEAMFL) and Florida Transportation Commission are set to host a joint annual meeting on Jan. 14 – 15, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport to discuss transit initiatives throughout the state. Slated topics include state agency reports, briefings on the I-95 corridor actions, overview of the Turnpike bridge fire response and focus sessions in the areas of toll operations, public involvement, engineering and finance.

“Our team is continually working on and addressing transportation projects which span the entire state,” said Bob Hartnett, President and CEO of TEAMFL. “This joint meeting allows an opportunity for statewide collaboration, innovation and strong communication – all of which will yield transportation improvements in Florida.”

This annual meeting is open to the public and expected to draw over 400 attendees from across the state. Featured guests include:

  • The Honorable John Mica, Republican Leader, Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, U.S. House of Representatives
  • Secretary Stephanie C. Kopelousos, Florida Department of Transportation
  • Richard T. Crotty, Orange County Mayor
  • Mike Bauman, Chairman, TEAMFL
  • Marty Lanahan, Chairman, Florida Transportation Commission
